Duck theft: It was reported May 11 that a duck-enclosure fence in the 1500 block of Victoria Road had been cut and a duck was taken. A rabbit had also been missing for two weeks.
Rabbit? You want a rabbit? I've got a blooming warren in my back yard and can't get these buggers gone -- you can have all the rabbits you can catch!!
As far as ducks ... I would love to have ducks stay around here, but the dang sky-carp (geese) keep chasing them out of the swampy area. Although I shouldn't complain too much, I like the geese too, now if only they'd stop eating the seeds out of the garden rows and leaving their poos that beats out the Newfie's by leaps! If they did it in the ditch I wouldn't mind so much -- but they love to use the fields as their personal potty and across the foot bridge too.
