What the F were they thinking???

SmileyCentral.com
US Supreme Court rejects death penalty for child rapists - Yahoo! News:
"In its written ruling, the court specified that even if a rape was particularly atrocious, it was impossible to set down a list of circumstances under which the death penalty would be justified, without opening the door to arbitrary decisions."
The majority said it was a case of 'cruel and unusual punishment' -- what?? What about the 'cruel and unusual punishment' he inflicted on his victim? I would love to see a simular historical case suddenly show up where they actually punished the person by execusion ... then poke that into their perverbial eyes.

C'mon -- 'cruel and inhuman' would be putting the guy's pecker in a mini guillotine. 'Cruel and inhuman' would be tieing a ham around his neck and binding him to a tree in the everglades or bayou. 'Cruel and inhuman' would be smearing him with honey and staking him out for ants ... or putting him in a septic tank during peak use everyday for the rest of his life.

Execution is NOT cruel and inhuman --- want to know what is? The crime this particular man was convicted of.

He locked himself and the 8 yr old daughter of his girlfriend in the house, then raped the little girl so bad that they didn't think she was going to live!!! now this girl will have to go thru the rest of her life knowing what this deviant did to her ... how will she ever have a normal relationship with anyone? how will she ever learn to fully trust anyone again? She will have to have a lifetime of therapy because of this bastard.

She will live her life behind the 'bars' he made for her, and he gets to live. I really hope that the other inmates give him their brand of 'justice'.

So how do the candidates feel about this??
"... Republican White House hopeful John McCain also denounced the decision, saying in a statement: "As a father, I believe there is no more sacred responsibility in American society than that of protecting the innocence of our children.
"That there is a judge anywhere in America who does not believe that the rape of a child represents the most heinous of crimes, which is deserving of the most serious of punishments, is profoundly disturbing." ..."
Damn right, McCain!! I never vote on a single issue, but I like his veiw on this one.
"...
"I think that the rape of a small child, six or eight years old, is a heinous crime," Obama said.
"And if a state makes a decision that under narrow, limited, well-defined circumstances, the death penalty is at least potentially applicable, that that does not violate our constitution." ..."
Okay -- that is a totally whimpy answer ... I'm sorry to/for the Obama supporters. He is basically agreeing with the Supreme Court w/ a very politically correct 'out'. C'mon -- be a MAN, give a firm answer!!!

But you know his supporters will follow him to the gates of Hell singing his praises all the way --- I'm so sorry for them.
