Not My Poll

HOME - TwinCities.com:
"Should the State of Minnesota eliminate the rule capping employee pay at the pay level of the governor?"
But this is a great example of how deceiving poll questions can be.

At this moment the results are:
No: 64 votes/44.4%
Maybe: 5 votes/3.4%
Yes: 66 votes/45%
No Opinion: 9 votes/6.25%

BUT the one thing the question does not mention is that they are speaking public employees, not private employees. So they are talking about people who get paid with our tax dollars -- not some big corporation's.

The only way you learn this is to read the story which you get to by link .... how many people are going to read it before they vote? My guess is not many.

But it just goes to prove that when you read things like 'polls say ....' that you need to also question how the question was asked in the first place.
