"The National Weather Service says areas of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin could see patchy frost this weekend. That's right, patchy frost in August.Yep, we are roasting up here -- we actually did have a 90 degree day this year ... but I think it was just one instead of the average 15 .... either way the corn isnt as yellow or as sweet as it would normally be -- but hey -- at least we didn't get those nasty hail storms that killed the crop last year, this year they just didn't get growing.
The weather agency says clear skies could allow temperatures to dip into the low to mid-30s late tonight into early Monday."
No rain, no real heat for when you watered them, it has been very odd this year.
Almanac is calling for a colder than 'normal' winter for our area ...
Welcome to the land of 10,000 lakes and a blink-of-the-eye summer!
