First - current Drudgereport poll has McCain having won debate by 67% .... which isn't really all that surprising when you think of Drudge's audience.
==================
Next - how can they say this was not 'thoroughly vetted'? Don't they take the time to look at political commercials before they air them? there has to be someone who's job it is.
MSNBC Pulls Ad That Focuses on McCain’s Bouts With Cancer - America’s Election HQ: "“The ad had not been thoroughly vetted prior to air, and has since been removed from our commercial rotation,” NBC spokeswoman Allison Gollust said in an e-mail. She did not elaborate.
...
The 30-second ad was financed by Democracy for America and Brave New PAC, two liberal political action committees that have already aired another anti-McCain ad. Democracy for America is headed by James Dean, the brother of Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean." Oh why does it not surprise me that Howard Dean would come up in this somewhere?? Hmmm.
More interesting was that the ad wasn't pulled until the morning before the debate ... but as far as I have seen and can find, it has only been shown on MSNBC - so not too many people have seen it.
Part of the ad questions why McCain hasn't released his medical records but that isn't true ... McCain did supply records for the last 8 yrs - Obama however has not given quite as much ... according to the news story his dr. only wrote up a single page letter that said he was in 'good health'.
Oh hell, that's like going to the dr sick and getting a note from the dr to take to work that says you just have a virus. Hardly measuring up to these groups' standards -- after all they say McCain's 1,173 pages weren't enough.
