VP debate moderator Ifill releasing pro-Obama book:
"The moderator of Thursday's vice presidential debate between Democrat Sen. Joe Biden and GOP Gov. Sarah Palin is writing a book, to come out about the time the next president takes the oath of office, to 'shed new light' on Democratic candidate Barack Obama and other 'emerging young African American politicians' who are 'forging a bold new path to political power.'Now someone tell me please how this woman who is publishing a book on how 'wonderful' Obama is ... set to coincide with the same day the President is getting sworn in -- leading one to believe that she is a strong supporter of Obama!
Gwen Ifill, of the Public Broadcasting Service program called 'Washington Week,' is promoting 'The Breakthrough,' in which she argues the 'Black political structure' of the civil rights movement is giving way to men and women who have benefited from those struggles over racial equality."
I'm sorry but this casts such a cloud on her impartiality that she should be stripped of the honor of being moderator, in my mind. I mean if it was something that she was doing and was waiting to announce it until after the election (all of them) it would be totally different ... but as it stands now, every question she asks will seem 'tainted' with partisanship.
now I dare PBS to try to say they are a non-partisan entity .... how many Consrvatives to they have working for them or have a weekly, nationally televised program? As far as I've seen -- none!
This is really bad all around.
BAD MEDIA -- how dare you influence the voting just so you can have a greater story!
