McVoting at California's drive-thru polling booth:
"The innovative drive-thru voting system was opened late Monday in Santa Ana, southeast of Los Angeles, as part of a push to encourage eligible voters to register and vote ahead of the November 4 presidential polls.hey, if they really want to 'take the stress off' the precincts - they should just forego the whole voting process and just pick who they want, or fill out the slip for the people .... oh wait .... I think they may have beaten me there.
'We want to do everything we can to take the stress off at the voting precincts on election day,' Orange County Registrar of Voters Neal Kelley said."
Its supposed to be stressful -- its a NATIONAL election.
Actually I think the government needs to step up and put an end to all this 'early' voting which is so ripe with fraud ... put an end to same-day registration for federal elections (with some restrictions, like if you moved into a new area) ... and find some way of making sure that every person votes only once.
In other nations they have to dip their fingers into a special ink that shows up under UV light that sticks around for days afterwards so there isn't popping from one district to the next. I used to think it was silly -- but then they started coming up with more ways to screw up the voting process ...
so next time you order your coffee and can't understand the person talking back to you -- imagine the same situation with your vote.
