Firefighter Case

Okay so here is more info on those Firefighters.

12 firefighters took promotion exams and got the top scores ... not just in the top 10%, they actually had the highest scores .... but they didn't get promoted, all 12 were passed over.

If there had been something in their records it would be one thing, but its hard to believe that all 12 fighters had something that would have kept them from being promoted ... what are the odds of that?

her ruling against the case was one whole paragraph ... even though the breifing of the case was 100s of pages long. a fellow judge on the appeals court, who wrote a decenting vote, scathed her for not paying attention to the merits of the case and taking into concideration ALL the legal arguments brought up ... and that he got the feeling that she simply wanted the case to 'go away'.

oh wow -- almost EVERY ONE of Sotomayor's decisions have been reversed when they make it to the supreme court!! This will be interesting to see.

If she has had so many rulings reversed .... how can she be qualified to be a Supreme Court Judge???
