Celebrity Death: MJ

Okay I was going to try to avoid this completely but you can't swing a dead cat without running into it today....

The world's most famous child molester is dead. I'm sorry I have a real hard time feeling the same sense of loss as other would. And I'm not going to be such a big hypocrit that I am going to only say nice things about him now that he has passed.

I feel for the famiy -- I really do .... he had this great career and had it good until the last 25 years or so ... and then he had to start going wacky.

Anyways --- I found this and it struck me as odd:

Michael Jackson is dead - Los Angeles Times:

"Paramedics found Jackson in cardiac arrest when they arrived at his home shortly before 12:30 p.m., three minutes and 17 seconds after receiving a 911 call. His personal physician was already in the house performing CPR. Jackson was not breathing, and it appears he never regained consciousness. Paramedics treated Jackson at the house for 42 about two miles from his homeminutes, and he was declared dead at 2:26 p.m. at UCLA Medical Center, above Sunset Boulevard."

Okay - so how the heck did the dr get there so fast? was he already there perhaps? and why did they try to revive him for an hour or more, most people would have been given up on with in 15 minutes?

If the hospital was only 2 miles away why the heck didn't the dr load Jackson into a car and haul his ass there? That would have been a 10 minute car ride at normal speed about 3 minutes at deadhead speed to save a life ....

It took only 3 minutes for the ambulance to show up --- that's it --- how many people in LA do you think get help that quickly? NONE - not if you are a normal person. This tells me that either (A) he got special celebrity treatment - if so that needs to be investigated ~or~ (B) they recognized the address the moment it came in and just naturally started rolling before the call was finished ~or~ (C) someone has "cooked" the truth.

My guess is --- because it sounds like the manager was called to cover up something .... the dr was there or was on called or something, he was very close at hand .... sounds to me like there was a clean up before the paramedics arrived ... and it sounds to me like there was some "clean up" going on first.

It would be interesting also to see if there isn't a 911 call from a cell phone first before the one from the residence ... it seems to me that they would have called from the residence to try to set time of death, after everything else is done.

BUT I still can't get over how much coverage they have on this .... I didn't see any reports until midnight last night (off shopping for a camping trip) and was shocked but not surprised by it .... but I am amazed at all the coverage!!

They didn't have this much coverage when Elvis Presley died ... ok so we didn't have the media that we do now ... but really!

Look I grew up listening to the man's music .... I was willing to give him the benefit of doubt over the first charge of child molestation ... but lets remember that he was not just accused once .... he had two trials, and bought at least one family off -- why would that happen unless he had a really good coverup team going on.

and I think it continues after his death as well.

He was supposed to be starting a tour in just a couple of days ... it seems like most of this type of stuff happened just before some new high stress event ....

I don't know what to think ... I'm just shaking my head ...
