I just heard on tv that these hearings on Soromayor are just a formality ... that they mean nothing .... because the Dems have enough votes to confirm her without ANY of the Republicans ...
EXCUSE ME??
If that is the case then why are we wasting the money on it (#1) and why ever have the hearings for any of them then (#2) and this also means that the Dems are doing everything based on politics - EVERYTHING - no matter what (#3)
So what happened to the "bipartisanship" that we were promised??
Oh look -- the Dems are playing dirty again to line their pockets ... hey - that might explain why Franken is on the board then. I don't trust any of them.
