Thought you might like to read some of the thoughts of a couple of the czars who Obama is taking advice from:
Dr. Ezekiel Emmanuel (health advisor), Jan 2009: " ... When implemented, the conplete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between 15 and 40 years get the most chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated"
Nov 1996: " ... conversely services provided to individuals who are irreversably prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic and should not be guarentteed"
John Holdren (science czar), no date of quote given: " The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being" [this man also wanted to put chemicals in the water systems to control population growth, that is forced birth control]
I have to ask - so what are they before those 'years after birth" if not human beings? Early sociaization sounds like they will be forcing children to go to daycare ...
Prof. Peter Singer (friend of the Regulatory Czar), July 2009: was talking about rationing health care as a must, he said " ... Saving the life of one teenager is equivalent to saving the lives of 14 85-year olds"
Yikes - scary.
Not sure how to read that one .... is he saying we should save 15 senior citizens and screw the teenager, or is he saying that one teenager is more "productive" than 14 Sr. Citizens?? It could go either way.
