What the heck was Whoopie thinking?

She nearly had a Rosie O'Donnell moment with Bill O'Reilly ... Bill tried to make a joke about Whoopie being jealous because his book having been on the New York Best Seller list for 48 weeks --

And Whoop totally flipped out and it looked like she was ready to bitch-slap him.

when she was ready to jump out of the seat to confront him (actually I think she was just repositioning herself to look at him better with that wig on), he made a comment to Barbara 'she's much better than the other person you had on before her [Rosie ODonnell]?' - he was immediately boo-d big time from the audience and BW told him to plug his own book so he would talk about something else.

BUT at that moment --- he was right.

Normally I like Whoopie, I think she is great for the show ... and while I don't always agree with what she has to say, she generally says it in such a way that is respectful.

But I think Bill felt totally disrespected by her ... not just for not getting his joke, but also becauses during the interview Whoopi seemed totally disinterested and like she would rather have been in the dentist chair than on the stage with Bill.

And then to have all the ladies on the stage start touting Whoopie's accomplishments and how much they love her on the show -- it was sickening, I can understand them wanting to stick up for Whoopi if she gets attacked ... but hell, she struck first.

Even Bill admitted that she was a very talented woman ... to which she mouths something to either the audience or the crew. But she totally was out of sorts.

Maybe she forgot her hormones this morning .... maybe she was having issues with her teeth (we all know she has teeth issues) ... or perhaps she was just having issues with that costume...

but I don't think I have ever seen her so disrespectful ...

and then to let the next guest get away with making fun of it too - although it was a quick blurb, which I suppose was unavoidable. (WHO THE HECK WAS this guy? He was so totally annoying!!)
