UPDATE: Oil Rig spill

reports have it that the Coast Guard is going to light the oil on fire on the Gulf waters -- of course there are conflicting reports that it is already happening -- so get ready for the protests and Global warming advocates.

my concern is more that it is going to follow the oil leak down into & under the Earth's crust and burn there forever ... and don't say its not possible - there is still a town in the US that has a fire in a coal mine that started in the 50's or 60's ... but what the heck are they going to do if this happens??

sounds like they are going to try to cap the oil well and syphon it off into some oil tankers -- but they've never done this in such deep water before.

I'm still thinking that they are going to find this is actually eco-terrorism!
