Obama must be going "Ouch" right now -- more so from this than the polls reporting a falling approval rating and the scathing response to his taking vacation in IL this weekend instead of attending services at Arlington cemetary.
Even Peggy Noonan is jumping on his case:
"It is not good for the stability of the world, or its safety, that the leader of 'the indispensable nation' be so weakened. I never until the past 10 years unnderstood the almost moral imperative that an American president maintain a high standing in the eyes of his countrymen." WSJ, 29MAY2010
hmmm, just the last 10 years? how convinient for you -- never mind that lack of 'high standing' which surrounded Clinton ... his being the first president to be impeached and all .... lets just be sure to figure a way to blame all of todays issues on Bush.

Come on now -- you are the guys who wanted this man in there ... he had all of - what? - one year experience when you all started saying what a great president he'd make ....

he hadn't even been elected Senator yet ... he was still in the middle of his campaign when the Sunday talk shows were asking him if he was running for the presidency in 2010 ...
You all changed the music at the party -- now we all have to dance to it. But how do you dance to a lock-step march?
