Fox News is officially declaring that the Republicans have taken majority control of the House of Representatives .... yay ....
this means that they have at least 218 seats in the House ...
Dems have 147 ...
The Repubs needed to gain 39 seats to get control ....
The Dems needed to gain 71 seats to keep it.
So far the net gains (those won minus those lost) are:
Dems +2
Repubs +53
these numbers will change before morning ... they may go up.
