Dems fume over Justice Scalia’s comments during healthcare case - The Hill's Healthwatch

The deems are pissed because there is a judge who MIGHT legislate from the bench ... And it's not one of the liberal judges (then they wouldn't mind)

Oh and then there's the bit where they are upset because the same judge felt that it would take too long for them to read through the entire bill and pick-n-choose what stayed and what went ... When Congress couldn't be bothered to read the damned thing in the first place and MAKE SURE that it was all constitutional ....

Apparently the senator Nelson doesn't understand that it's not the courts job to do a line-item-veto

Feinstein (D-CA) claimed that congress put "years of work" into the law ever since Hillary killed it with her attitude in the 90s ... You remember that? When she pushed her way into the meetings when only elected officials were supposed to be there (you don't elect a First Lady) ... Her whole attitude left a bad taste in everyone's mouth

The thing that really cracks me up was her statement that if the HCB gets found unconstitutional then it "could take down social security too" .... REALLY? .... That thing that they say is always not going to be there when we grow old yet seems to make it year to year?

Actually if the Dems really wanted to save SSI then they would stop pushing all the birth control -- after all, the money that goes to the seniors is paid for by the CURRENT work force ... Most people think they are going to get back the money they put in, but it doesn't work like that at all ... But then politics works best when people remain ignorant

Let's hope that the Supreme Court strikes the law down and FORCES congress to look at it again - line by line, provision by provision which is THEIR job!
