Someone at the White House has decided on their own (wink wink) to "update" the OFFICIAL biographies of the US Presidents on the National website
EVERY PRESIDENT since Calvin Coolidge (exception being President Ford) has had a footnote that Ties their ACCOMPLISHMENTS to what Obama has done since in office
While the bios themselves were not changed the White House is claiming that it is a
promotional technique which is widely used on the web
One such footnote connects Obama's tax policy to Ronald Reagan's
"In a June 28, 1985 speech Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multimillionaire did not have a smaller tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffet Rule."ALSO
" President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare signed (sic) into law in 1965 -- providing millions of elderly healthcare stability. President Obama's historic health care reform law, the Affordable Care Act, strengthens Medicare, offers eligible seniors a range of preventive services with no cost-sharing, and provides discounts on drugs when in the coverage gap known as the "donut hole"
"on Feb 22, 1924 Calvin Coolidge became the first president to make a public radio address to the American people. President Coolidge later helped create the Federal Radio Commision, which is now evolved to become the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). President Obama became the first president to hold virtual gatherings and town halls using Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Linkedin, etc
You can imagine the RNC has a response:
It is no surprise that "The One" is trying to insert himself in the biographies of past presidents. Remember, this was the same guy who said he shuld be considered one of the top FOUR presidents." Kristen Kukowaski, RNC Press Secetary, 16MAY2012 in a statement to FoxNews
One website is having fun inserting photos of Obama into photos of part Presidents ... to see them go to
