Conundrums of Socialism

I heard this on the Garage Lgoic podcast (6/25/19 episode .... I want to say 284 but even the Mayor of Garage Logic isn't really sure of the number)

In the episode Major Joe read the 6 conundrums of Socialism in America

1) America is capitalist and greedy, but OVER half of the population is subsidized.
2) Those who are subsidized think they are victims
3) Their representatives run the government
4) But the poor keep getting poorer
5) The poor have things in America that most poor in other countries can only dream about
6) The American poor want to be like those other countries

He also read three sentences about our current social environment

1) we are told not to judge all muslims by the actions of a few lunatics ((his words NOT mine)). --  we are encouraged to judge all gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics ((again, his words not mine))
2) we are constantly being told Social Security is running out of money - but we never hear this about welfare or the food stamp program - interestly the first group WORKED for their money, the second DIDNT
3) Cutting benefits for veterans, no pay raises for our military, and cutting our army to a level lower than BEFORE World War 2 - we are NOT stopping the payment of benefits to ILLEGAL aliens.

A lot of it is just basic common sense, but there's a few truths there too

Don't judge ANY group by the actions of a few ... not men, not women, not whites/blacks/asians/hispanics, not gun owners, not christians/muslims/Jews/Buddhist/heathens/pagans, not fisher folk, not hunters, ... radical groups CAN be judged as a group - KKK/ANTIFA/Branch Davidians/etc those people can be classified because they CHOSE to join those groups.
