The first deals with To The Victors Go The Spoils
The Supreme Court has decided that they are going to step out of this one ... this means the lower courts rulings will stand. Can we insert an eye roll here? Do. Your. Jobs. The Supremes CHOOSE which cases they will hear - they themselves ... yup, not every case actually gets to the Supreme Court - which means theyook a case they pretty much knew they weren't going to rule on.

Then there's the case of the Census question on citizenship
President Trump (at least the attribute it to him) wanted to put a question on asking I felt people were citizens of the USA - not if they were legal/illegal/visa'/whatever ... just if they were citizens.
The Dems in NY! IL! WA! CA! We're afraid that the question would be used to not only cut funding but also take away representatives - their bigger fear.
They have already lost the "purse strings" of the Senate (as they often do) but they have kept a fairly firm hold of the House of Representatives because "Blu" states seem to have the highest number of representatives.
BUT while they are saying this to try and get more Latino/Hispanic votes (Trump has a bigger following in these groups than they know how to handle) ... while they are distracting with the question they are not saying that it WONT REALLY MATTER - see the number or Representatives is NOT based upon your LEGAL citizenship number but on the ENTIRE population of your state, CITIZENS & NON-CITIZENS ALIKE
