All I know is that the stock market really hated it! Stocks tumbled like you wouldn't believe! And then to top it all off if you look at the graph that shows how the interest rate has changed…
It had not been cut since 2008, and that was after Obama got elected!
The irony is, to stimulate economic growth – the general consensus is you raise interest rates and lower taxes, but they did that backwards and Obama… and the economy sucked under Obama pretty much
When Donald Trump became president, they raised the interest rate – and the economy has taken off like you wouldn't believe!
With the 2020 election is close at hand, one has to wonder if this isn't some movement on the Democrats part to try to direct which way the election will go!
Very much like how they kept talking about how bad the economy was under President Bush, and suddenly they got into office… The economy may not have been great under bush, but it was not as bad as what they were saying, until they kept saying it Dash and then people began to believe it , and then the market followed
It's kind of like the chicken that we had when I was a kid… If Mom had frozen fried chicken for dinner we knew something very important was going to happen . The last time that we had a box of frozen fried chicken for dinner my mother was going to announce that we were getting new carpeting for the living room and the dining room, which meant that those two rooms would be closed for about three days ... both fun in that phone when you were a kid ... my brother was eating his piece of chicken when he suddenly started screaming that he had a worm in his chicken! My mother looked at it and what no it's not at work it's just the rain, my brother kept insisting that it was a worm, suddenly we all had worms in our chicken! Of course we didn't have worms, it was just the beans in the chicken… But it's that power of suggestion .... in the waste of a really good box of Banquet fried chicken
