I've wanted my hair stand to go deer hunting since I me him ... even more so sthan nice we got married ... been begging him to learn since I started pressure canning ... I'm thinking I'm gonna have to learn to do it myself though. ... he's too tender hearted, he guess.
But if you are wondering about DEER HUNTING SEASON IN MINNESOTA I can give you a few things I know;
1) ALL deer taken this year MUST be tested for "Mad Cow Disease" aka CWD ... Cronic Waste Disease ... no matter where you got your deer, you can't take it until it ge S tested.
2)you can NOT hunt on PRIVATE property without the owners WRITTEN permission, and they Can CHARGE you any price they wish
3)PUBLIC LAND can be hunted on, but only in the DESIGNATED AREAS ... you can't just pop onto the municipal golf course - and many of those places have limits as to how many hunters they will let in
4)First shot can NOT occur before 1/2 hour BEFORE she nsrise opening weekend, or 1 hour BEFORE sunrise after that ( at least that's what I heard on the Garage Oogic podcast)
5)hunting licenses MUST Abe purchased BEFORE a you begin hunting, but deer tags can be called for afterwards
I would love to get an entire deer ... oh that would fill both my freezer & a good part of m pantry ... I love venison!
