And Who Will Be Listening? I watch PNightline" on ABC ... most of the time I don't pay too much attention, it seems to be mostly "fluff" and button-pushing ... But I was watching an episode from this week about the shooter in Boulder, CO ... So it is a couple days old but since I watch them backwards in time (Friday - Monday, that is) I would have caught any sort of APOLOGY had they had one ... any sort of CORRECTION ... a RETRACTION ... There was NONE While reporting on the shooter, they said he had purchased the weapon used THAT DAY ... They said this was able to happen be ause of a Law having been overturned by the Supreme Court ... NIETHER of these statements were correct. JUST FOR CLARITY - the weapon was purchased **6** days before the shooting While the Court did overturn the gun law, the gun was ALREADY purchased and his BACKGROUND CHECK was CLEAN What has come out is that the FBI "knew who he was" ... The real question is -- WHY was he on their radar, and if it was anything would have indicated ye would have done this, WHY did they not STOP the clearing of his background check?? ABC ... WHEN will you RETRACT these misstatements by your newsroom?
