FACT CHECKS ... ON THE OTHER FOOT

This is a Fact Check Post dealing with the Democrats in Congress & the White House trying to interfere, and taint, the election officials in Georgia ... as well as other states, by way of extension ... on how they can run the Election Laws in their states ... "... ending voting at 5 o'clock when working people are just getting off work ..." President Joseph (Joe) Biden, March 31, 2021 Well here are the FACTS about Georgia's Law and what they are trying to do: * Does NOT change voting hours on ELECTION DAY * Still 7AM - 7PM * Has EXPANDED EARLY VOTING times by changing it from "normal business hours" for being to vague ... it now stets as standard of 9am - 5pm, with EXPANDABLE HOURS, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening ... so sites are allowed to be open 7AM - 7PM * Added MANATORY SATURDAY to Early Voting times * Made 2 more SUNDAYS optional, as well So the CHANGES made to GEORGIA's Voting Laws will make it EASIER for people to vote, not tougher. Companies such as Delta Airlines and Coca-cola are calling for the law to change ye again - claiming it cuts voters rights/voting hours ... I wonder if they even bothered to do any FACT CHECKING of their own, or if they just became corporate lemmings falling into lockstep ... Microsoft has become a Me Too party to the boycott as well - but they have at least tried to openly covered their butt by saying that several recent claims about the GA government have proved to be wrong. So what is TRUE in some of their clams * Legislature has the RIGHT to SUSPEND/REPLACE Eleciton Officials ... prompting concerns of Conflict of Interest ... right now, the state's congress has a Republican Majority * Handing out Food/Water to voters in line or close to the polling place will be seen as a CRIME ... punishable by a YEAR in jail &/or $!000 FINE ... but it did NOT name any particular POLITICAL GROUPS OR RACE OR BELIEF SYSTEM * Shortens the time to request ABSENTEE BALLOTS ... which actually makes sense since they expanded the extended voting times/availability * NO SIGNATURE MATCHING on Abesntee Ballots * Uses VOTER I.D. ... not a special voting I.D., but the same one you need to buy cigarettes, beer, cough medicine, booze, drive a car ... or even CASH one of the COVID RELIEF CHECKS * Limits the USE of permanent DROP BOXES for Early Voting ballots Sometimes I think we should do away with Political Parties all together ... it turns everything into an Us Against Them mentality ... and people tend not to actually THINK for THEMSELVES
