 So, if you know me you know I like to listen to a LOT of news ... I really have to promote a Podcast ...

I think I may have mentioned it before - but a simple search online will either get you to their webpage or a search for the podcast ....

I definitely recommend the 10NOV2022 episode.
They interviewed a former anchor personality = Liz Collin = and why she felt she had to leave the job she worked at for over 10 yrs.  She also give insights as to what was REALLY going on during the whole Gearge Floyd riots, news stories, trial, and what did and did NOT get put out into the public ... as well as WHY things were reported the way they were.    

She has a very unique perspective ... she was a journalist who tried her best to keep her political standings out of her reporting ... She was the #1 WEEKEND local news anchor in the Twin Cities, and was the main person to fill in for other anchors who had the day off.  She also happens to be married to the Union representative for the Mpls. police department to the Police Union.  And trust me - you would NEVER have known any of this if she didn't tell you.

It was interesting the story she had to tell ... including that local radio talent for WCCO-AM radio was FIRED for admitting during a show that he had conservative leanings ... although GL said they thought it was because he was reporting what was actually happenoing in downtown MPLS during the riots.

She made it sound almost "They Live" like ... don't understand?  You have to look for this sleeper movie starring Rowdy Roddy Piper ... I like the movie a lot ... its got the best line:

        "I have come to chew bubble gum and kick ass.  And I am all out of bubblegum!"
