You also need to remember that one of the president's powers, is that he can dictate where money goes when Congress is not in session... or if there is an quote emergency unquote situation... Which means extensively

that if the military and people receiving Social Security do not receive their payments... it is not the house of representatives fault, it is the president of the united states is fault! This was true for president Carter, president Reagan, President Bush the elder, President Clinton, president Bush the younger, President Obama, and finally president trump!

They were all in charge of what happened to the money when the government shut down for lack of funds

and so which shall be under president Joe Biden... Or is it president Kamala Harris? No one seems to really know at this point... just joking!

Beacon giraffe a piece of paper which says the military will get paid.  I suggest the unlisted get paid, the higher ranking officers can wait, because they should be getting paid enough to where they have something in savings.

He can sign a little piece of paper that says that Social Security benefits will still be available for the elderly... SSDI, or SSI, depending on how it's called in your state is questionable... i understand that there are several people who receive it that really need the money... but i also understand that there are several scammers out there who are picking the American people's pockets like you wouldn't believe! So I suppose to be on the safe side let them get their money as well

if he does these things I'm fairly sure that the stock markets will remain fairly strong, although they haven't been fairly strong so far in his presidency... in fact they've been very wishy washy... very much like 1929!

And of the estimated 7.8 million job loss... I don't understand why it would be that high, I can't imagine we have that many people working for the federal government! If we do, there needs to be a major staff cut anyways!!!  I am going to guess however that they are probably thinking that businesses in DC will be cut due to lack of staff in the area, such as wait staff in restaurants and hotels. But that's not likely to happen karma because there's still going to be plenty of tourist attractions open.

You know what I think would be really cool??

If the government shut down, and we saw absolutely no difference in our daily lives!

I mean absolutely none... The younger folk take care of the older folk so that the older folk aren't missing meals, having to pay for bills instead of food, you know that type of thing. People going out and finding another job when they lose their first job.
