Late tonight, there was another drop-out from the Republican race for nominee ... and I'm actually surprised it didn't happen sooner, but I think they were actually waiting for Vivek to drop out.
Gov. Ron Desantis has dropped out of the 2024 race ... yup ... 2 days before - or should that be 2 nights before - the New Hampshire primary race.
This will free up quite a bit of money for the last 2 campaigns ... but its really too soon to get an idea of how it will effect the primary itself.
Desantis was polling in the single digits last I saw in NH, but there is still a lot of track left to this race ... Super Tuesday is usually when we see the choices to get down to 2 or 3 ... not in January!
Now it will get interesting ...
I have not heard who he is throwing his support behind, but I can't see it being Trump - even though Trump supported him in his Gov. run - because Trump has gone after him so hard ... but I can't see it being Haley either, he seemed to really not like her at all ...
Its going to be very interesting ....
I wonder if its going to get down to which of the 2 wil offer him the best position after the election, if they get in.
