Rember after 9/11/01 when they passed the NSA and the surveillance rules where the federal government didn't have to go to courts to get search warrents to listen in on cell/phone calls, etc?
Remember how upset the Democrats were? They were gnashing their teeth, the Civil Rights advocates were up in arms like no ones business ... it was amzing ... it was a slippery slope that was double edged - it was against the Constitution, but withou it we might not get a heads-up quick enough to prevent another tragedy ...
Well -- now it seems the same Democrats which groped about he warrentless survalliance have been caught using it to find people involved in the Jan. 6th Riot in DC ... and it was a simple riot, only thing it lacked was the burning of the city - but I see no difference than what took place in Baltimore, LA, or Minneapolis/St. Paul ... it was simply more centralized.
Any how - let's not start down that path ...
The Federal investigators (no mention of which agency they worked with, there are so many that could be involved) asked BANKS to "flag transactions" which cntained words such as:
MAGA
Trump
Dick's Sporing Goods
Wait ... what?
So .. if you bought ice fishing equipment or a warm coat from Dick's -- the feds likely put you on their list.
Wow - and don't think Dick's was the only shop they looked at.
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's was also on the list!!
So all that new fishing equipment you got -- that's got you on some list some place
All that camping equipment, those tents and sleeping bags - they've got you on it too.
And the cast iron pans - which I personally love - they've got your number too!!
They even decided that if you buy Christian books! So much for Freedom of Religion! There are a loti of people who enhoy Christian based novels .... I am not one of them, but we have friends who are ... the books have less to do with the government, and more to do with "What If" scenerios, or how to deal with the pain of loss, or about living a "Christian Life" ...
Hmmm .... why does this sound so familiar?
Oh yeah ... HISTORY
