YOU MAY HAVE MISSED THIS

 Depending on which news station you watched ... and at first it made me go "that's just not right" but now as more news comes out about it, I think it is of big concern!

The Secetary of Defense ... he works at the Pentagon .... he's a big wig on the President's cabinet which puts him right there when decisions are being made, had to EMERGENCY trip to the hospital on New Years.

That actually isn't the issue.

He apparently had gone in for some elective surgery the week before - no word as to what it was about, but we don't need to know about it either , I can't think of an electiver surgery that might impact his job - sometime around then, the Depurty Secetary of Defense went on vacation in Puerto Rico ...

Also not an issue -- Puerto Rico is considered a part of the United States, so technically she was still within the U.S. ... but at least a few hours away ... and my understanding is the cell service down there is iffy still after the hurricane so long ago (wait - whre did all the money go that the Main Land sent down to rebuild?)

The worrisome part is ... NO ONE WAS TOLD he was in the hospital!

Yup - no one bothered to let Congress, nor the WHITE HOUSE, know that he was out of commission for a while.

While he was in the ICU of he hospital, one of his aides told someone calling looking for him that he was "working from home for the week" ... which may have been the original plan - so does this mean that even the Pentagon didn't know???  Or were they covering up something?

I'm gonna guess that he staffer just didn't know yet.

So he went in on Monday ... by Wednesday SOME of the work was passed down to the Depurty Seceretary, but that may have already been part of the origianl plan, and the White House didn't find out about ANY of this until THURSDAY

My uestion is a simple one ...

WHO THE HELL WAS WATCHING THE COUNTRY THEN???

Remember - 

    ~Biden was on vacation out of the country
    ~Harris was on vacation, lord knows where
    ~Deputy Sec. of Def. was in Puerto Rico
    ~Secrery of Defense was in the I.C.E.(Intensive Care Unit) of the hospital

The United States of America could have so been caught with our proverbial pants down!

Thank goodness nothing major happened...

With all the crap happening around the world ... is it asking too much to simply keep the White House & Congress informed as to WHO. IS. IN. CHARGE??

Please don't say "Hillary"
