INTERESTING ...

 If this keeps up, I'm never going to catch up with my news programs ...

But on Special Report (FNC) for yesterday (Fed. 5, 2024) Senator Kirsten Sinema was talking about the Border bill ... and interestingly enough, she - by the sounds of it - wants to go back to much of the ideas/resolutions that President Trump had inacted dealing with the crisis on our borders.

Its almost like she's a Blue Dog Democrat ... that was what they used to call the elusive Democrats who had Conservative leanings.

I know she became an Independant, but in my experience, most Democrats who become "Independants" just drop that "D" by their name, but they all seem to act the very same ... makes me wonder which issues she disagrees with the Republicans on ... I know "Freedom of Choice/Right to Life" is one of them ... but I wonder what else.

Anyhow - she also mentioned that the bill does have a part concerning the wall ... BUT ... and I haven't heard this from anyone else ... while it does set aside money for the wall, and she did not say that it was a seperate amount from the $20Billion pleaged - she said that the money set aside for the wall was for the repair and building of the wall.

Wait ... so they haven't been FIXING the holes made by the Cartels all this time?? Who's been paying for them?
We've seen video of Texas officers out there fixing it ... what the heck??
And for the building of the new sectins of the wall -- don't you wish you hadn't sold off the materials that were already purchased and just waiting for installation??

Here's what I can tell you ... its gonna cost a whole lot more to do the wall now than it would have been to just complete the job 4 years ago!

And , please for goodness sakes and all that's holy, do NOT hire ILlegals to put the fence up!!!

She, Sinema, does believe that by simply adding another 20,000 beds it will drastically reduce the number of people that will have to be released into the country ...

WHAT??

This lady used to be a Social Worker ... they must not have "case loads" in AZ because in almost every other state in the Union you will find Social Workers cmplaining that simply adding to the pile won't get anything done or make anything better.

She is of the opinion that families won't be counted against the "detainment"/beds .... in fact, it sounds like she would allow them to still basically "go free", of sorts ... but she did not say how they will make ssure that family units are really a family unit.
I mean, they found that the Cartels were sending people through with children they claimed were their own, but then DNA tests proved they weren't even related! 

It was asked about "Remain in Mexico" ... where migrants who were seeking asylum could begin their process on the Mexico side of the border, but were not allowed in the USA until after they had completed what was needed to be done.

Sinema, also seemed to be of the opinion that the numbers of people coming across the border had been really bad way before President Biden took office ... but, if she checks back in the news, she will see that the huge "convoy" of people (we're talking a mass movement which clogged streets) began around the time President Biden took office.

Yes, there were ILlegals coming in ... but not at the rate which they are coming now.

And just because yiu have placed some "limit" on the number "allowed" in does not mean they will respect that number and not continue to push into the country.

And if these people cross the Rio Grande, puttin gtheir lives in danger - but the limit has been reached - do you think they are going to cross again and try tomorrow instead??

Heck No.

I just thought it was rather interesting that she struck me as a Blue Dog ... even though she still thinks like a Democrat.
