So I am determined to keep up with this week's Sunday shows ... Last week was so tough, that I still have ONE left over to complete.
Face the Nations (CBS) had Nikki Haley on ... but it came across as just a lead in to the main topic of the day ... the report on President Biden and the Classified information that he held, and why he was not going to be prosecuted ... and the blatant white-wash they were trying to do.
They didn't even try to hide it ... although they did have the majority of the guests do it for them. Other than Nikki Haley, who was asked if she would take a congnitive test, they also had Michael Morell on ...
Now I tried to do a YouTube search to see if anyone had a clip of his section .... even checked the Face the Nation You%ube page to see if they had it ... NOTHING.
So you're gonna have to trust me on this.
Morell decided to compare both President Biden and Mr. Trump's cases to each other ... the first thing he said was that while Mr. Trump had more documents than Mr. Biden, it really wasn't that much! Yup - so Biden had nearly as many documents as Trump ... so don't get cocky, y'all.
He also said - both had some of the highest securiy level papers there are ... they both had documents that went across a wide variety of topics ... neither had them in secure locations .... etc. etc.
I think the most interesting thing was that while it seems Mr. Trump had documents from his time as President ... Mr. Biden had documents that dated back all the way to the 1977-79!!
So, while Mr. Trump had 4 years worth of documents ... Mr. Biden had 52 years worth of documents!!!!!
And while many might sit back and go "well those things are so outdated ..." -- yu have to ask yurself, wouldn't military secres from 50 years ago (we're talking during the Carter Administration) still be, um, secret for a reason?!
I'm pretty sure Iran would love to know what we knew, when we knew it, and who gave us the information.
But, alas, because Morell didn't tow the "party line" that CBS wanted ... it is likely you will never hear this interview.
Sad, really
