Okay - this just broke about 2 hours ago ...
Mr. Donald J. Trump gained a MAJOR vicoty in the NY appeals court ... not sure if its the state appeals court (which I think it might be) or the District Appeals court which is just below the Supreme Court.
He has won a reduction of the BOND which he must pay - so it wasn't an all out repeal, but enough - from the base line of $454 Million - over 1/2 Billion, really because in order to get a bond you have to pay something like 20-30% above the bond rate - to $150 Million instead ... no word if that includes that extra bit or not, I'm going to guess not.
But while the money was a HUGE deal -- he couldn't come up with it ... honestly, that surprised me, but I guess being a Real Estate guy, its all tied up in properties - although, he had said something about having a bank account with quite a bit of money in it .... hmm, maybe for lawyers fees??
The largest part of the victory was that the Appelate Court over turned the BAN of Mr. Trump, OR HIS CHILDREN, from doing business IN NEW YORK ...

t it could be the whole state ... either way, its a HUGE win.
Mr. Trump released a statement via his Truth social account:
"This is the 5th time in this case that he has been overturned, a record/ His credibility, and that of Letitia James, has been shattered. We will abide by the decision of the Appeallate Division, and post either a bond, equivalent securities, or cash."
