I just learned that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green has put a motion to yank the carpet out from under Speaker Mike Johnson ... but since the motion isn't "Live" yet, it will not be taken up before they go on a 2 week break.
Its really strange - the House rules that is.
It only takes ONE party member to push out a Speaker .... this was a new "rule" which they passed in 2022 .... its so dumb - it makes them look like kids on a playground.
Any how .... why did she do it?
Because House members did not get the $1TRILLION budget EXTENTION 48 Hours before the vote ...
And don't be misled - its a really thick bill, full of "pork", but then they ALL are that way.
I think this is going to do a LOT of damage to the likelihood of Republicans getting a wider control of the House or the Sanate ...
Both parties seem to think that the "average American" wants one Party or the other in charge ... but really
All we want is for these guys to THINK things through before they act!!!
We want them to f'ing WORK TOGETHER!!!! for butt-sake!
I'm just saying ....
How about you all go TALK TO YOUR CONSTINUENTS and see what THEY want you to do ...
I'm gonna guess, its not going to be to throw the "baby out with the bath water" ...
