WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY VOTE DOESN'T MATTER????

 Okay - so I was watching the latest video from "Facts Matter" and it dealt with how there is a little known end0run to BYPASS the Electoral College ...

It is NOT the ranked choice voting ... which if you ask me, simply helps to hide voter fraud ...
Nor is it "at least 50% of the vote" will be needed to be seen as a "majority" ...

It is "Winner Takes All"

They just need states to sign into law -- since each state is in charge of how it will run its elecions, including federal offices -- a bill which will FORCE those states to not send the Electoral delegates for whoever won their state to D.C. in January ... but the delegates for whoever wins the majority of votes for the national ballot ...

This takes out any NEED to amend ... change ... the Constitution -- which is quite hard to do ... don't believe me?  Check out how many times women voting rights went to the floor ... it was a LOT!

So this plan began way back in 2000 when George Bush won the Electoral College but lost the nation popular vote ... people didn't come right out an whine or wimper about it ... but they started thinking about it ...

So when Trump PLAYED BY THE RULES in 2016 and won the Electoral college but lost the popular vote ... the Hilary SUPPORTERS (no proof that she was involved at all) began to work extra super hard ...

They figured it out ... the bills have a fancy long name, and a 5 or 6 letter "alphabet soup" to them ... I'm going to embed the video, so you'll have to watch it to get the jest of it all.

So ... what they are basically saying  is:

Chicago
Los Angeles
New York City
Miami
Seattle
Los Vegas
etc.

How?

Well let's say you live in Kentucky ... anywhere in the state it won't matter ... and your state votes for the Republican candidate ... 100% of the delegates you would send NOW will be for the Republican party ...

BUT, since Kentucky is thinking of passing this law ... that might not be quite right ... IF the Democratic candidate has more of the POPULAR vote NATION WIDE ... thus those big cities ... then Kentucky would be sending 100% Democratic delegates in January ...

Yup -- they are going to NULLIFY your vote ...

Now I have onky seen 2 elections in my lifetime where the winner of the Electoral college but not the popular vote ...

All of them were Republicans winning over Democrats ...

Each time, there was a little dust up ... the first only lasted until the Supreme Court settled the matter ... and George W Bush still won.
Gore Supporters grumbled for a while ... you still heard "He's not my president" up until 911 ... then everybody seemed to like him.

But Hilary Supporters ... OMG ... they didn't get over it for over 4 years!!!
They still moan abou it now ... and they made sure Biden was going to win ...

I'm not saying the cheated ... I don't think there was anymore cheating in this election than any other election ...

What I'm saying is that they used "residency laws" against the Republican party ...
People from the strong Democratic voting coastal states, checked out how long a person would have to live in a state in order to vote there ... then they rented an apartment, or room-mated, they may have even moved into a hotel for the requited amount of time ... they would have needed to get money to pay for this too, so some might have gotten a job or got the rent money from someplace/someone else ....

Then they voted ... I would think it was likely that those who live in Oregon - since they only do a "vote by mail" system, they can fill out their voting card, and either mail it in before leaving the state, or have someone else mail it for them.
Then while in the other state, they can vote in person ...

Thus double voting ... which actually DOES break the law ... but if the state isn't actually looking -- and most won't unless someone says they will pay, or have EVIDENCE which will be accepted by the court system -- they will be able to pass with out being caught.

This is a problem with Mail In Voting ... aka Absentee Voting.
When I started voting in the 80s ... just dated myself there ... I was told the ONLY way you could vote Absentee was if you QUALIFIED for it ....
nowadays, you can just go in an get one, most of the time they won't even ask you why ...
And in some states, they will give you MULTIPLE ballots without even checking.

We had a guy in our city have about 10 people living at his house (with his knowledge) for the required amount of time ... just so that they could vote on a county question and try to flip it his way ...
He got called out on it, but since all you need is someone to say "yep they've been here for the required amount of time" that is good enough.

I know - right?????

Now, they want us to REGISTER our party if we go to the Primary Vote ... before it was just one ballot sheet - only thing you HAD to do was vote for all one party all the way down ...
You couldn't vote "Republican" for Congressperson and "Democrat" for governor ... but YOU got to do it PRIVATELY ... no record of which way you might vote ...because sometimes the point is not to vote for who you want in that office, but to cross-vote for a lame candidate for the other side ...

Like so many did to get Mr. Trump to run against Hilary ... boy were they surprised!

The scary part about all this though ... is the fact that DEMOCRACY ... the thing the Democrats were named for ... Democracy is about to be KILLED by these laws.

You will still be able to vote ... but like I said ... if your state votes for Democrats, and a Republican wins the popular vote ... your state will be forced to vote Republican instead ....

Then watch them all whine and wimper about how unfair this new end-run was ...
