So the main story this weekend on the talk shows was ONE subject ... and one subject only ... except Fox ...

TRUMP'S CABINET PICKS

OMG - you would have thought he dropped a cherry bomb in every toilet in the building, the way they were acting ....

ABC, CBS, EVEN Fox had a go at it ... heck, even my local news stations show At Issue (KSTP, ABC affiliate) had a segment on it which lasted quite a while, although, it was fairly mellow ...

And while every one seemed worried about Hegseth was going to be nominated (especially on ABC ... see, he was a host on Fox up until his nomination), to RFK leading "Health & Human Services" - more on this later - to the Senator who was being looked at for "sexual misconduct' ....

Interesting enough, I don't even remember hearing anything about Matt Gaetz until he was nominated.

It seems there was an Ethic Report being done on him ... which was about to be released - but it was dropped as soon as Gaetz resignedB as a senator .... and no - the reports are NOT usually released once the person has left ....

HOWEVER - I guess there have been 4 times in the history of the Senate where it has happened - I will have to see if I can get more information on it, though.

They were saying that a woman claimed that when she was 17 years old, she had had sex with Gaetz .... but it sounds as if it was consentual ... and there was no abuse.

But until this weekend's This Week ... (ABC) the number of women saying he paid for hem to have sex while they were under age has grown to 4 ....

So the quesion becomes ... why would Trump pick such controversial people ...

RFK - they are raking RFK over the coals because he said something abut immunizations - even though he says he and his children have all had their immunizations, with the exception of the .... have to be careful here ... C ... pick a varient ... shot.

It is a fairly new vaccine type - it uses RNA varients to be effective - I think, I'm NOT a doctor by any stretch ...

To most Americans, I think it falls under the same category as the Flue shot ... it won't stop you from getting it .... they have to guess at which strain is comng up ... if you do catch it, it will only likely lessen they symptoms or the duration.

You would have thought RFK was a pack of racoons hiding in the coop, waiting for the hens to come in ....

PERSONALLY - I think Trump nominated RFK for the position figuring that he would not get it .... Same with Gaetz ....

Makes sense - get their support behind your campaign, offer them a post which can't be filled until after you are elected ... knowing that chances are, they won' get it.

Some of his posts make perfect sense ... Rubio, Bergman, etc. and then there are these ones ....

I think Trump plays Chess, while others play checkers ... and if they play chess, he plays 3D chess ....
