First let's get this out of the way ....

Do not read on if you don't want to know what happens ....
Members of the Club:
Judith Potts, former Archittect, founding member ... lol
Susan (not recalling her sirname), dog walker, single mom, member #2
Beck Starling, vicar's wife, member #3
Well, kind of - Susan and Beck meet at Judith's door - Beck, like a vicar's wife would do, brought a rather large cake. Trying to balance holding the cake and ring the doorbell - Susan says "let me do that" or some such and pushes the doorbell.
The ladies sit and begin to speak - Susan tells that she was the one who found Dead Body 2 .... an old client/friend ... she tells about how the man got his dog Luna ... and about some money he thought he was going to be getting which apparently didn't happen after all ....
Beck and Susan find out tha Judith is studying the murder of her neighbor ... HARD ... she has a crime board worked out ... you know, one of those things with photos, articles, and string linking things together ....
And .... Judith thinks both crimes are linked together ....
Which the police then also figure out, but they have 2 bullets (one from each murder) which came from the SAME gun ... ballistics - can't have a murder these days without ballistics ...
Well, they figure the pistol likely came from the town's antique store .... so the first outing of the group is underway ...
and a bit of humor pops in .... ala cell phones ... lol .... and I can tell yiu, I get it!
The are trying to find a bit of handwriting by the man in charge of the antiques store, to see if he was the one who threw a brick through Judith's window in episode 1 (did I tell you all about the brick?) ....
While on 3-way video call, Judith hits the wrong button and turns on "masks" - it is so funny!!
And I can totally see it happening this way ...
Oh this "T" button is going to drive me nuts!!!! You have no idea how often you a letter until the button doesn't work!
So .... they eliminate him as a suspect .... BUT ... they inadvertently find a reciept which the police had been waiting for - and they know who BOUGHT the lugar gun, which they suspect was used in the shootings ....
So they GO to the man's home .... gutsy .... and get him to show them his collection of World War 2 German memerablilia ... the guy is off the wall, but still .... well, he's not crazy .... anyhow - they talk him into showing them the gun ....
Which he finds is GONE!!!
The cops burst in - they also got a hold of that reciept - and all of them get taken into custody .... but, of course, the three ladies get released ....
And we find out that Judith's husband - I'm cutting a lot of stuff out, btw - was not a nice man .... we get a flashback of them laying in bed, when he asks her to say to be sure to tell anyone who asks, that he was with her on some Tuesday .... he won't tell her why they might ask, but I'm gonna guess it wasn't for anything good.
Judith is swimming in the Thames (at least according to the audiobook, but it must be an off-shoot) and she suddenly realizes she has been overlooking a medallion which was found at crime scene #2 .... the taxi driver who owned the dog, Luna .... anyways ... so she goes to the police station to talk to the detective in charge of the cases - Tikka, I think - and gets turned away ...
But in a rather clever, and tad humorous way, she sneaks inside - and says she knows about the medallion, and why it was left there ...
They, the lead detective and the Club ladies, go back to crime scene #1 and toss/fish for another medallion with a magnet -- hubby has one for grabbing tools which migh fall off the dock/boats, they are actually quite interesing - any how - they pull up a second medallion ...
while the first medallion said "Hope" ...
the second medallion says "Faith" ....
And then Judith begins to recite the part of 1 Corinhians, where Paul writes about Faith, Hope, and Charity ....
Judith hen predicts that there will be a third murder - and that they are dealing with a Serial Killer!
This episode's body count: 0
Oh it gave a few good chuckles ... oh, the note on the brick ...
Red herring - turned out to have been written by a jealous wife, who thought Judith was fooling around with her husband.
We did also learn:
Beck and her husband used to work together - one in Human Resources, the other in Accounts Recievable ... then he decided to become a vicar, and she was basically forced to quit her job and go along with him .... I have a feeling this will come back later ...
Susan (still cannot remember her last name) is asingle mom of a recent graduate .... who is curriently in Jamaica with her father - Susan said she had to do all the work, give all the guidence and discipline and now he gets to do all the fun stuff ...
Judith inherited the mansion from her Aunt - and although she lives there alone, she enjoys her solitude ... We really haven't found out that much more about Judith ... other than the fact that she was married ... I'm sure that will come back as well.
