"Inflation rate jumps 0.6 percent in May, reflecting higher energy prices"Did I or did I not say this was going to happen??? I did. Well, okay the guy I heard on the radio did.
It actually has less to do with gas prices as it does with higher taxes/lower interest rates.
They should be raising interest/lowering taxes ... why? because if people are getting money they are more likely to spend it no matter what the interest rate is.
However, if they have less money they aren't going to spend no matter how low the rates are.
Now we have people using their cards to pay for everyday items such as food and other necessities instead of using their checking accts or check cards ... because they have been convinced that it is a better way to go or its their only option.
Which puts more people into debt and causes even less spending in the long run.
Boy it is amazing how people have been getting some really bad advice lately ...
thus says the woman with the huge yarn/embroidery/papercrafting stash (I'm so naughty).
