Hurricane: Fey

NRL Monterey Satellite Photos Okay so this is a naval photo I found of the current news disappointment.

As you can see Fey is actually part of a larger cloud band ... now the weather service - who has been getting crap for over forcasting the number of major hurricanes for the past few years - is forecasting that Tropical Storm Fey still has a chance to turn into a cat 1 Hurricane ... they hope, they hope ... since they hope beyond hope that it crosses back over land within the next 2 days/48 hours.

Of course as you can see from the bands - chances are probably greater that the storm will follow the other clouds and go out to sea.

The only thing that the hurricane center has going for it is the competing high pressure areas that are keeping Fey where she is instead of letting her be out over open water by now.
