Obama saw Bush get hand sanitizer, during flu season, while meeting LOTS of new people, who may or may not have been in direct contact with sick people, and he obviously didn't notice if the Prez did the same thing for others or he would have mentioned it ... so with all this -- he took it as a slight?
Bush then offered some to Obama, who recalled: 'Not wanting to seem unhygienic, I took a squirt.'"
I read the comments that he attributes President Bush as having said -- I didn't see any 'hard feelings' in them ... if anything I think he was offering some good advice to some one who had never held any political office before - they usually have high ideals and think everyone is their friend, the Prez just said that wasn't so.
If anything I think it was rather interesting that Obama seemed only focused on the Republicans in the room .... yeah, and the issue in the room was Bush ... yeah that was it.
Nice way to show us your idea of 'bipartisanship' ... and things hadn't even gotten underway yet!!!
The country is screwed.
