Yes, Oprah has taken the dive. She has fallen into the Industry's unreasonable ideals of what a woman should be ...

Oprah Winfrey says she weighs 200 pounds:

"In January's 'O' magazine, Winfrey, 54, details her recent struggles with an out-of-balance thyroid and how the condition made her develop 'a fear of working out.' She says she's gained 40 pounds since 2006, when she weighed 160.
'I look at my thinner self and think, `How did I let this happen again?'' the talk-show queen says in the article provided early to The Associated Press by Harpo Productions. 'I'm embarrassed,' she says. 'I'm mad at myself.'"

Here's an idea -- maybe its the fact that you are now old and your metabolism has changed on top of your thyroid condition ... maybe its your genetics ... maybe its that there is nothing wrong with being "over weight"

Why can people not get it thru their heads that when it is a WORLD WIDE issue that can be traced ... it might be ... oh I don't know -- EVOLUTION??? and that people are supposed to be heavier than we think the should be?

Has anyone ever thought of that?

no of course not -- instead it is better for the industry to try to keep us looking like something that comes out of the space ship in Close Encounters .... they want to keep women so skinny that we look like 13 yr old boys ... how sick is that?

Look .... the "ideals" of people's weight are wrong. There is nothing wrong with a woman being 200 lbs. It only looks like more on Oprah because she is only 5 foot 6 inches -- if she were 5 foot 10 you wouldn't notice the few extra pounds.

Oprah -- please ... cut women a break and instead of trying to look like Tyra Banks (with those ugly ribs showing and her joints all pointing out) ... go ahead and allow yourself to look like Delta Burke ....

Delta Burke is a beauty who has never gotten the full credit for it because so many in the industry can't get over the fact that she is more curvatious than the likes of Cher, Jolie, or Kate Moss.

Oprah -- stop trying to grow a pair of balls to compete in the industry, and hike up those DDs and stand up for the larger woman -- Let men know that Bone is for the Dog and Meat is for the MAN.

C'mon ... you could make such an important impact for WOMANHOOD here ... let women be women and not just sex objects.
