Because someone finally -- FINALLY -- took a look at what the result of the bill actually was .... and they found that the only place where jobs are being made (ok, maybe not the only place) is China.
What? well let me explain.
Most of the panels & turbine parts needed -- come from China.
So now 5 Senators, who voted for the Stimulus Bill, want some answers:
- Schumer (D-NY)
- Casey (D-PA)
- Brown (D-OH)
- Tester (D-MT)
- Specter (D-PA)
and yes you might recognize Schumer's name from yesterday's post about the Worker's Card program that he wants passed.
and yes that is Specter from the meetings I spoke to earlier in the year who was taken to task by people in his district for his support of bills without having read the whole thing.
GEE GUYS -- DON'T YOU THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE CHECKED BEFORE YOU SIGNED that the money from the Stimulus Bill was - oh I don't know - actually going to stay in AMERICA?????
Gee - aren't you glad that people on the Hill are actually paying attention to what they sign?
