Now all trucks from 2000-2003 have been added to the list being recalled for "Rust Problems"

FOLLOWUP TO PRIUS STORY
Okay so Toyota & the Highway safety commission now going to investigate the car in CA which sped out of control.
Heard on the news yesterday that the man HAD gotten a recall notice in the mail last year or so ... and took it to the dealer who told him they didn't know what he was talking about - even after they saw the actual notice!~!~!
BUT yesterday there was another driver -- this time in NY -- who's car also had a stuck gas pedal crashed into a STONE WALL .... luckily the driver was fine.
I just heard a blurb on this one so I will have to do a bit more research on it.
