Just saw tweet from NYT that the Westminster Kennel Club - the ones who do the "Academy Awards" of the dog circuit - has cut ties with their MAIN SPONSOR ....
Pedigree Dog foods will now have to find a new way to advertise on a world wide level ...
All the tweet said was that WKC felt their commercials were TOO SAD ...
I always felt it was rather ironic that the commercials ran ads pushing for pet adoptions - statistically most of which are mixed breeds - during an event that touts the beauty and desire of purebred dogs ...
