This was supposed to be the compromise that the WH reached with religious groups who have religious differences with the concept of birth control and other "forms of contraceptive care" which were about to be forced upon them ... and despite what you may have read it wasn't only the Catholic church that was having the issue ....

BUT while the WH claimed that they had worked this out with everyone involved ...

The insurance companies are standing there scratching their ... heads ... trying to figure out when or where they were involved in this compromise --- apparently it's all news to them

It doesn't surprise me that the WH made a move without having their ducks in a row, not consulting anyone - come on, this administration does it all the time ...

It didn't surprise me when they tried to force those who didn't agree to "support" their ideals ...

It didn't even surprise me that the American Health Insurance Providers (the largest group of health insurers in the US) balked at the thought that they will have to pay for such a vaguely worded program ...

I did go HMMMM about the phrase "regulatory process" ....

Interesting turn of phrase, don't you think?

I guess I didn't realize that insurance providers had influence in health regulations .... I thought the Department of Health and the FDA did that ....
