LERNING FROM THE PAST? NEVER!!!!

NEVER let life's lessons teach you a damned thing ... if you live on the East cost that is.

"Tropical Storm Ophelia" hit the coast this weekend - news programs were carrying lots of footage of flooded areas from Philly ... NJ ... NY ... etc.

But wait -- didn't they just have a HURRICAINE hit that same area not that long ago? causing the same issues??

Then there was Hurricane Sandy!

Sh packed a punch they hadn't seen in quite a while -- I remember watching footage of the damage online as it was happening!

But instead of going  "hmmm, we should fix some of these problems" - which they have been wrapping into the rhetic of Global Warming/Climate Change for the past 40 years or so - instead of making it so the sewer/rain systems work better at keeping the streets clear ... instead of fixing issues for when trees fall ... instead of fixing the Infrastructyure of the cities/states - they have piddled the money away on stadiums, rail lines to no wha=ere, and other such Faunderoy.

I have sympathyt for thge people - don't get me wrong - byt come election day, they will vote these same people bACK INTO THEIR SEATS AND AGIN, NOTHING will get done.

If you want TERM LIMITS then there is an easy way to handle it ...

if you don't like a politicans voting record, don't vote for them

Check out their backgrounds BEFORE the Primaries ... don't wait until after they get into office and then check.  That's like buying a Used Car and THEN taking it to a mechanic.  NOOOO - Look before you buy!!

Check before you VOTE and even if the person you don't like gets in -- be NICE, work with them to fix the issues.

And fix your drainage systems
