NUMBERS DON'T LIE

 Okay, so I was watching "Good Morning America" this morning - yes, I do watch other stations that aren't part of the Fox family - when they started talking about INFLATION and how it has trended up this last month, despite what the White House/Biden administration has said about it ... Let's not even get into GA and how its effecting them at this point.

They released some of the latest numbers ... but they played with things to make it sund not uite so bad.

$235 = amount average family spends more than last year per household 

$733 = amount people paid LAST YEAR more than 2 years prior to that (its tricky but it is comparing 2022 to 2020)

but what they are not saying is

$968 = amount paid todaay, per household, per month - above 2020 prices!

That's nearly $1000 .... on AVERAGE     this means that many places are seeing even HIGHER increases, while some are seeing fewer.

I do know, that for us, the prices have gone higher - by MORE than $1000 .... and not just due to prices of items ... its an incresee of insurance, prperty taxes, inc9ome tax, etc.

My mom used to say the Democrats never met a tax they didn't like ... and I believe it. Not that the Republicans are any better, 

With all the strikes going on, things aren't going to get any cheaper either.
