AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY THEY SAME

 I bet you thought I was going to go for the other, didn't you? 
Well, no ... because - truly unfortunately - this is becoming the norm these days ... even without any proof.

Claudine Gay - now the former President of Harvard - finally resigned her post ... after she had been allowed to stay for weeks following her abysmal testimony in front of Congress trying to defend the college's response to reported on-campus antisemitism  - I say reported because there is still some disagreement over what has actually happened (just trying to stay neutral here) ...

The final straw?

Well it was when the college's campus newspaper started looking more deeply into some of the published works/papers of Ms. Gay and they found well over 50 seperate cases of "poorly referenced/attributed items" (to paraphrase it all) ... 
Well -- actually that's not exactly the reason why ... they would have let her stay on even after that!

It was the letters written to the Board of the school which caused her to finally resign ... I've heard news commentators on several different Sunday shows speculate that she was simply waiting for the time to kick-in for her "golden parachute" so she could leave and get a huge pay-out which the school wouldn't back away from.

Okay ... fine ... over paid staff is nothing new at collegess these days.

However, she not only resigned -- which means she voluntarily left her position -- but then she have the gull to say she had been forced out because of the color of her skin!!

No, darling -- you were able to stay/keep your position as long as you did because of the color of your skin ... the last thing Harvard wanted was to be labelled a racist college after all the gripe they went through over the whole college admissions lawsuit!

So , apparently, the college - which was attended by the Kennedy kids ... Bill and Hillary Clinton ... Barrack and Michelle Obama ... and so many other notable politicians who did good works -- that college ... decided to, somehow, make you leave - not becuase you broke a basic tennet of academic behavior, bur rathaer based on the color of your skin???

REALLY???

Oh PLEASE!

Ma'am -- if it had been any student, you know dang well they would have been booted out after the second occurance! (first time is generally met with a warning)
