Found the quote from Rev. Al Sharpton:
"This is an attack on every Black woman in this country who's put a crack in the glass cieling. It's and assault on the health, strength, and future of diversity, equality, and inclusion."

Wow - you have no idea how hard that was to cite like that! I've gotta start getting more sleepy.
Ever since Twanda Brawley (I know I have that first name wrong) ... I have always looked at Sharpton with a side-eye ... in 1985 or 1987, she claimed to have been raped/written on by a gang of men, some of whom she said were police officers.
When it came out that the racial slurs written on her were upside-down - especially the N-word acrossed her belly - it became clear that she was the one who did it.
If I remember correctly, she was 15 yrs old and afraid she was going to get into trouble with her mother - not just because she had stayed out so late, but also because she was with a boy her mother did not approve of. (oh yes, back then we were afraid of our parents, and it was a good thing most of the time ... kept us in line!)
He's done some good things in his time too ... but while fmr. President Teddy Roosevelt said "Walk Softly, but Carry a Big Stick" ... he seems to believe in "Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease", he just puts it on so thick it flings alover everyone standing near him.
